Musicians forms to be sent before December 1st

November 10, 2010

Dear delegates and officials of the Extraordinary International Session in Lillehammer 2010!

We are looking for performers for what are to become the most extraordinary EuroConcert to date. We encourage all delegates who have a talent and passion for music and performance to apply, filling in the Musician’s Form attached. Most of you will have to bring your own instruments, as only a piano will be provided by the organisers.

There will be an audition during the first weekend of the session where we will hear all the applicants’ performances. After that we will make a selection on who will get to perform at EuroConcert.

This is an opportunity you do not want to miss out on! This year we can also tempt you with beautiful facilities and a special surprise.

The deadline for signing up is December 1st. We are looking forward to hearing your performance and wish you the best of luck!

Please do not hesitate to contact us at euroconcert2010@eyp.no if you have any further inquiries.

Best regards,

Ingrid Sårheim
Responsible for organising EuroConcert in Lillehammer 2010

Lillehammer 2010

October 11, 2010

On behalf of the organising committee, it is a great pleasure to announce that a new international session will be held in Norway in December! The session will take place in Lillehammer and gather approximately 240 persons for eight days, from 10th to 18th of December 2010.

The session will include the same aspects as all other international sessions, such as Eurovillage, Euroconcert, Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly. For the teachers the city has a variety of museums, academies and surroundings that will give them an unforgettable experience as well.

Lillehammer is located in the southeastern parts of Norway, about 2,5 hours north of Oslo and 1,5 hours north of Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The city hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1994, and is also one of the Norwegian cities hosting the European Handball Championship this December.

The city is compact with walking distance between all major venues. The venue list includes Birkebeineren Hotel & Apartments for accommodation, SAS Radisson for Committee Work, and the Culture House from 1895 for Euroconcert and General Assembly.
